i was watching my cham this morning and noticed he was eating the little pieces of moss at the bottom of his bamboo spiral plant.

does anybody know if the moss is toxic at all?! i don't know how long he's been doing this cos i only just saw him doing that today.

or does it mean he's lacking something in his food and that's why he's trying to eat something else?

i removed the moss already just in case, but please help! thanks!

When my female layed her eggs and when she was still in the egg box she started to eat some of the sand, maybe to get some nutrition or something. But it went right though her, thank god.:D

I do not have any moss in my enclosures, however I have witnessed my chams. tearing at the vines and leaves, while standing under the drippers. While they are doing this the drippers are usually running or just ran, so I would just assume they are getting water.
