The only issue with the Cat Palm that I see is that it wont provide much support for a chameleon's weight. I don't think that the fronds are sharp on the edges so that shouldn't be an issue. I also don't think they need that much light so it could work out in indoor enclosures. Slow growing too!
Noah, this is not a good attitude when choosing plants for chameleons. There is nothing about a plant which visibly indicates whether it may be toxic. You have to look on safe plant lists and not just shrug your shoulders and assume it's fine

It is the most extensive list I have seen on the web so far, and most chameleon owners use it as their go-to. You probably already visited it when you were doing your research, though.
