Ugh. For those of you who would have voted to convict her based on your own opinions and assumptions, I hope (if I end up in court for something or other) I do not get any of you on my jury.
Again, the convictions are based on what was said in court (as it should be.) Think about all the cases where people were sent to prison before DNA testing and then were found innocent later. There wasn't rock solid evidence against them, but they still went to jail even though they were innocent. While we may believe they were guilty, they were not and were wrongly imprisoned. The same could be said for this woman if she in fact didn't commit the crime but was sent to prison because of assumptions. I dont personally think she is innocent, but it would be wrong to convict her because of my opinions and not facts.
