Good day all.
I have not frequented the forum in a long time but still breed veiled chameleons quite often down in South Africa.
I have been so lucky to finally get my hands on a new species - a Furcifer lateralis lateralis pair.
They are wildcaught/ranched and have been dewormed and seem to be acclimated well.
I am a little bit unfamiliar with their colouration and I am trying to figure out if the female is already gravid. She is not fat and lumpy but has been displaying towards the male (they are housed separately with me). Could anyone tell me if these are definitely gravid colours and what is everyone's preferred method of egglaying sites? I am one of 3 in the country with a pair so breeding and establishing a bloodline is of utmost importance. I also added a picture of the male for everyone to see.
