Recently I have acquired a 1.2 group of F. lateralis Lateralis. They are about 2 months old maybe a week or two older. I have read all I can find on their care and wanted to get some input from other keepers.
Anything advise would be greatly appreciated.
Here is a quick run down of my setup. All three cages are configured the same.
60w basking house bulb
Ambient temp 71 - 75 F and 85 F basking
18" reptisun 5.0 (tube)
1 Ficus and 1 Umbrella per cage. (Very heavy coverage in the cage, lots of cover)
Misting system - Herpmist (on every two hours for 2 min each time)
Humidity is 60 - 80 % (I have seen it drop to 50% for a short period.
Feeding 2 week crickets - about 20 each
Dusting ??????- I am looking for suggestions for Carpets (currently using same schedule as my young panthers)
These guys love to hang on the screen and chill near the basking light. Over the last couple of days they have started to use the plants to hide a little. For the most part the are screen clingers.
I will post some pics tonight.
Note: I have already read the stuff on http://www.chameleonnews.com/
