D DMR Reptiles New Member Mar 26, 2026 #1 Just curious for those that have hatched Carpet eggs how long did it take to hatch? I've got a clutch that was laid on 9/21 and they are all looking good but wondering how much longer I might have? Thanks.

Motherlode Chameleon Chameleon Enthusiast Mar 26, 2026 #2 I hatched one clutch of Furcifer lateralis eggs. I hatched the clutch a while ago (2000ish). However I recall they incubated for about 6 months. I hope that helps. Best Regards Jeremy A. Rich

I have heard both diapause and no diapause works for incubating Furcifer lateralis. Whatever does the best job for breeders is the one to go with. Best Regards Jeremy A. Rich
