Ive noticed alot of carpets being born in captivity lately. I was wondering if they are being bred to there specific region like panthers or are people just breeding what they can get there hands on? Im not sure if that data is even available when they come in or how that works? I sort of hope they go the way of the veileds and get mixed and matched. I think they are very cool, Ive never worked with any but hope to in the future. Thanks

They are bread with what everyone can get their hands on.
So a mix is probably what you will see out there.
There is no doubt in my mind there are different color combinations based on locale, but because they are gathered in such a broad area in Maddy and records are not kept when and where they are picked up we will not see many locales; if any.
I really enjoy working with lat lat. they are a fun and beautiful species.
