Keep in mind this publication is from 1997, and our understanding could have changed since then (ie, some info could be outdated, and is best confirmed by reading newer publications). @Kaizen wrote a great blog entry almost a year ago that addresses the current theories regarding chameleons eating plants. I know this is a widely debated topic among keepers & researchers.
