At the moment I am going to be letting go two of my male K. tavetana babies. They are around 3.5 months old and doing great! This species hatches out of the egg SUPER small and have steady but slow growth. At the moment they are 3 inches total length and 1.25 inches snout to vent. They are feeding on 1/8 inch to 1/4 inch crickets and hydei fruit flies. They should also be about ready for house flies. They are past the crucial stage and should do well for anyone who wants to work with them. Their horns are starting to grow and also getting some very nice vibrant neon colors.

This species is rarely ever available as captive specimen if ever. WC imports come in beat up, full of parasites and just do not acclimate well to captivity. I have found that the captive hatched males are rather hardy so if you are wanting to work with this species the time is now! They would be perfect for someone wanting to get into montanes or just wants another spectacular animal to add to their collection.

In the Taita Hills where this species is from temps range from 72 to 86 degrees daytime and mid 50s to lower 60s in the night time and sometimes lower. Humidity is around 80% night time and can drop to below 50% daytime. This nice range of temps and humidity, I feel, make them an easier montane species to keep as opposed to other montane species that like temps between 70 and 80 degrees and humidity 70% to 100%.

I am asking 125$ plus shipping for each male. I will accept paypal, and personal checks. I will offer a 10 day health and satisfaction guarantee along with as much support as you need to keep these rarely offered gems nice and healthy. I do ask that parties have experience with other chameleons already and I will screen potential buyers.

If you are looking for a pair I should have 2 or 3 pairs available in another 1.5 to 2 months as the second clutch is still very young.

Please shoot a PM or feel free to give me a call at anytime!! I am happy to answer any and all questions you have:)

At the moment I do not have any recent pics of them but will try to snap a few within the next few days.

Here is a pic of one of the males. Its nice and cloudy today so they are a bit darker trying to soak up what sun they can;) These guys are really getting some nice neon greens.

BTW, my math was wrong. I only have 1 single male to part with. The others will be paired up with unrelated females.

Well, I have had lots of inquiries about the pairs and there may be only one pair left. However the single male is still available.

I will drop the price to 100$. This is as low as I will go. You will not find a better specimen of this species besides the ones I have at my house;) Dont pass this opportunity up!
