Can't tell if eggs have been laid

Dona has been getting ready to lay eggs for the last week or so (vet confirmed). She wouldn't eat on her own for several days and was very lethargic. The vet had us force food and water to her because she was getting too weak. We both work all day but have tried to leave her alone as much as is possible/safe for her so she feels safe digging. Today she looks skinnier and is eating on her own, but I don't have any clear evidence that she dug a hole. Is there some way to be sure? I don't want to start digging for eggs if there is a possibility she hasn't laid them yet, because I don't want to disturb her bin and make her not want to lay there if she hasn't already.
