hey, i have a 4 month old veiled, i baught her at 2 months old from a pet store they had her in a really small viv, i now have her in a viv twice that size but still a temporoary as she is now almost 4 months old. the cage im plannin on buying is a put it togeather yourself screen and tubing mesh cage. ill be buying the biggest one i can find at my local pet store, are there any problems with this for a temporary before i can go to the hardware store to pick up supplys for a new cage ill build ?

Q: is there any problems with a build it yourself screen mesh and plastic pop togeather tube cage ?, ( for a 4 month old veiled cham )

port credit pets (a 30-45 min drive from brampton) has all screen aluminum enclosures for under 100$. You should give them a call, it will probably cost you less or similar to what you would spend building it.

Tube? Well I know I went on craigslist and ended up putting my cage together for only $7. It is 32"x32"x32"

For that price you're looking at getting a 16x16x30 cage, which is ever so slightly too small for when your female is fully grown.

I would just try to get that extra 20-30$ and get a 18x18x36.

Last time I got quotes the 24x24x48 cage had around 45$ shipping, 18x18x36 cage was ~35ish, etc etc.

Unless you're buying multiple cages it's not much of a savings.

Ya, don't get me wrong though.
When I plan to get a big shipment of cages in a year or so I'll more then likely get it through lll, the exception being if a I can get the reptibreeze's at close to cost.
