Can you use honey as a gut load?

I know it has a lot of good things in it, good gut load? Anyone try it?

I've used it with veggies and cricket crack and if you use flies, you can put it on the flies.

You don't want to put it on the flies. That's messy. I keep my flies in a net cage and drizzle honey on the mesh lightly. The flies will lap it up and then you feed the flies to your critters.

I just pour the honey all over my chameleons then I lick it off them... Does that make me weird?
