Can this work?

Can this coffee table stand work to fit two cages? I’m looking to buy a new stand for my room. So I can move Wiseman cage and Eja Cage next to my bed.
In doing so-I can rearrange the other side of my room.

I saw this coffee table. I like the look and function. It is allowing new storage space too. It can fit next to my door. But I would have to remove my desk. I been wanting to add another 4x2X2 in my room. I been holding it off. I wonder if I can comfortably fit two of them on the stand. Removing my desk will allow freeing up new space to dedicate smaller reptiles and increase more storage space at the same time.

Actually south backing side of my room is where Eja will have her final permanent spot.

Keep in mind there will be zero wiggle room, so you will want some kind of anti slip mat on the bottom, else a cage may slide off a hair and be resting on the screen.

I could find some type of thin mat. Maybe I have to keep looking for a tad bigger size table. Or maybe contact Dale for a custom Tamura cage. I’m sure he could do 48x48x24 base cage and give a two separate space in one cage.

If you dont go with the mat, the other idea is find a way to attach an edge to the back and sides of the table with a high SAF (spousal approval factor). You might be able to get away with hot glue and a 1" strip of polycarbonate or plexiglass along even just the back of of the table. The hardware store could rip you a 1" cut, but you would have to pay for a 24x48 piece.

My rimless aquarium has a mat underneath it. I don’t ever remember that feature being included with the purchase. I think my brother added that for me. I’ll see if I can find something like of it for the cages.

I just DIYed mine from 2x4s and cheap 1x6s... Super cheap, and custom to whatever size you want. The ppl from the department store will cut everything to size, and you just need to screw it together.
