I can't figure out if my cham is male or female can someone help?

No, they can be sexed out of the egg by the trained eye. Sometimes it is hard to tell though. Here is a link for you to check out and maybe you can determine for yourself. I say female by what I am seeing. Where did you get a 2 day old panther? Are you hatching them out yourself?

Yes I purchased the egg & hatched it myself. Thanks for the info, but i think this one is hard to tell.

Do you keep chameleons or is this your first one? You are right, and I am just guessing myself by the tail base. Color of course, plays no factor in determining sex at this age. I have seen many baby chameleons that are a "he" turn into a she and vice versa.

This is my first cham. Either way girl or boy it's so hard not to fall in love with them, they are VERY unique creatures.
