Hi everyone! I haven't been on here in a long time. I think the last time I was here, I still had my pet Bubba (pygmy chameleon). A few months ago for Mother's Day my husband gave me 2 pygmy chameleons. He got a female and male. I named them Ricardo and Lucy. Sadly one of them died a few days after. We thought the one that died was Lucy. A little while ago I took out Ricardo ( I thought) and put him on a plant inside the house just for him to get out of his cage. So maybe an hour after, I want to put him back on his cage cuz i was leaving and I didn't want to leave him there. As I was picking him up, I noticed his face is by this oval white thing. It looks like a mint. I asked my husband, to look at it. I kinda thought it was an egg but I thought he was a he. My husband agreed with me that it was an egg. So I guess Ricardo was Lucy. My hubby buried it in her cage and we put her back in the cage. Now my problem is I don't know what to do so the egg will survive. Please I need your help. Also how do you know when she is done laying eggs?

Well, the egg had some dents but now seem better looking. There is only 1 dent now. Still don't really know much about this since this is the first time my cham had a baby. So thank you for all the advice i didn't get.

Most keepers of pygmies leave the eggs in with the pygmies. The same conditions that your pygmy loves will do great for the egg(s). Just try to keep it fairly well protected from getting too wet or dry.

Sorry no one has jumped in to help out. Hopefully someone with pygmy experience will help out. Here's a link that might help!

Another ?. Does a female lay all the eggs the same or does she lay them over a couple of days. lucy only laid 1 egg. Is that normal? The egg is seperated cuz she laid it on a leaf when she was on the plant.

she may have been inturpted, she may have burried them thinking she was done and had one more hard to say, with mine she laid 4 eggs "tic tacs" each time and burried them. if that is the first she could have more dont let her see you and if she has more should dig and deposit them..
