can i use rain water to mist my new 6 month old panther chameleon?

hi my name is julie im new to here...i bought a baby panther chameleon yesturday (liam)he is 6 months old, he is doing great he has been eating and drinking but abit scared to be held. all i was wondering was are they allowed to drink rain water (as it is currently raining really hard where i live)

Your fine as long as you store it in a cool light free container. If you leave it outside in a bucket then run the risk of bacteria or Algae growth.
