can i feed pheonix worms to 8 week old veiled cham?

Hey guys! Well I finally got my veiled chameleon! When I got him,he was 6 weeks old. For the past 2 weeks he has ate just pinheads and dubia roaches since he still tiny. Ik I could feed him fruitflies but i feel he is a little to big for that and will finish the whole culture of flies in 2 days :p. I heard Phoenix worms are a good source of calcium and was wondering if I could feed that at this age. How many could I feed? Is to much calcium bad for him. He's just a baby, would he get calcium sacs? And what other rich healthy foods do u recommend. He's so tiny! He can't eat horn and silkworms because he's so tiny. So what do you recommend, just stick with the roaches and crickets till he's around 3 months old and he can eat a variety of insects?

Congrats on your new baby and Phoenix worms would be an excellent feeder. At 8 weeks old they can eat any insect that's the appropriate size.....no longer than the space between the eyes.

4 or 5 every other day would be ok. :)

Unless he's really tiny, like a runt, then he should be eating larger crickets than pinheads.

He eats pinhead/ 1/4 size mix and really? 4-5 every other day? Lol! I thought Phoenix worms were treats or something
