I've been reading on here that hornworms can eat mulberry leaves does anyone know if this is true?... or does it mean that they can live just a few more days with out chow if they can live on it I got plenty of mulberry trees around me lol that would be easy thanks
yes, they can eat the leaves. Wash them really good. I had major die off from feeding leaves before though, but maybe I did not wash the leaves good enough. What I would do is take a couple of worms aside and feed them the leaves and see if they do not die. Better than chancing it and losing all or most of them.
Thanks that's what I was gonna do was test them out on a few I kept reading about this but wasn't sure and I asked Great Lakes and they said that they would be toxic if they ate the leaves and I'm like there're not tomato leaves lol but thanks for the advise
