Can hornworms hurt your Baby Panther???

I know this may be a silly question but can hornworms hurt a baby Panther Chameleon? We haven’t used them but was curious because that horn/spike of theirs looks dangerous. Maybe I’m just being overprotective/paranoid, Lol.

Not the way you think the most common injury associated with Hornworms is tongue damage. They have a very strong grip and a cham can strain or damage their tongue trying to pull them off a branch. I either hand feed them or put them on a leaf were they can't get a good grip. I also put them close to the cham so they can walk up on them if they stick and not shoot far.
