Can chameleons sense each other like dogs? By smell or anything crazy like that.

I have both a boy and girl in my living room they have their cages coverd so that they cant see each other but my boys been going crazy lately.

i don't think so, chameleons have a very poor sense of smell.. i think... so i don't think its that

For whatever reason, some of them just know.

Someone I know has a free range room of males, and he said that they can ALWAYS tell when one of them has returned from a mating trip to the lady room. Interesting isn't it?
