ive been following this veiled from petco and stuff..long story, look at my older threads :p anyhow, it lost use of its back legs, but its mbd is being stopped by shots from the vet and great gutloading and supplementing...it is about 4 months old now..and if it happens to be a female..could it dig and lay its infertile clutches when it comes of age? or would it be reluctant and become eggbound? if so, would the vet have to remove them everytime she becomes gravid??

A lot of the questions your asking can only be answered by knowing how severe the mbd is? If it was caught fairly early then yes, she should be able to recover enough to be able to use her legs and lay. Just depends on if she get the use of those legs back again. They wont ever fully recover but I have seen cases where they did show significant improvement after alot of rehab and ca injections and good gutloaded diet is paramount to recovery process. He needs to get her as much natural uvb as possible also. All those things will help speed her recovery.
