Can a panther mate with a veiled?

Lions and Tigers are both in the same genus (panthera) as are horses, donkeys, zebras etc. (equuis) but Panther chameleons and veiled chameleons are from two seperate genus (Furcifer, and Chamaeleo) making a crossbreed impossible. However, I have heard of hybrids like OustaletixPardalis and CalyptratusxArabicus, again, they are in the same genus.

Although interesting, it is ridiculous and unwise to even consider doing this. I'm gonna start a new thread that has a similar but even more absurd question involving a "vs." sign.

Why in the world would u want to do that? If you want to breed you should be responsible and only breed quality pure bloodlines. To try and make the bloodlines stronger not breed genetic freaks that would never meet or breed in nature. I just read the orig posters question so this was directed toward him/her.
