Well she got through the surgery the vet successfully removed 12 eggs from her abdomen but unfortunately there was a 13th egg that had already ruptured inside her and left a bit of a mess! She has also had her ovaries and tubes removed.
Although she has got through the surgery the vet has explained to us that she is not out of the woods yet as the yolk from the ruptured egg is a breeding ground for bacteria, she has been given an antibiotic injection and has to go back to the vets on monday.
Now it is a sit and wait process to hope she doesn't get an infection and hope that she starts eating again now as she is in need vitamins to help her fight against infection.
Lastly we would like to thank all who left messages for her to pull through xxx
