Use

Yeah, she might just be readjusting. If she's also not eating she should start again in a day or two.

If she otherwise looks alert she's probably fine... just continue your usual routine for now. :)

alright... ya im just worried... cuz i do not know what to expect since i havent had her long, i just dont want to be making a mistake, and not knowing im making it

Do you know about female egg laying? Is she gravid? Have you read the 'raisingkittytheveiled' blog? How much do you know about female veiled's?

i dont know anything yet, i just got these books, so im planning to read them on wednesday my day off, thats why im asking , cuz i just want to provide the best enviroment for her

http://raisingkittytheveiledchameleon.blogspot.com/

do not gutload your worms dogfood, is that what's in that cup? gutload leafy greens only (collards, mustards, dandelion, kale, bokchoy)

Get a bucket of dirt in her cage asap just incase she's gravid.

step 1 - Read that whole blog as soon as you can. Adjust everything accordingly

step 2 - Find a local exotic or herp vet. Take some fecal samples in to get a parasite check, and if you have the money you should have the female checked out.

step 3 - use the search function on this site to research. At this point you don't really have the option of reclining with a good chameleon husbandry book, you need answers right now. This site is the best source for information.

Chameleons are a challenge, they're expensive, and many people would consider them unrewarding. Just a heads up. And female chameleons above males require special attention because they continue to lay eggs whether they've bred or not.

good luck!
:)

Actually that article was written by Lynda, she has done a lot of research regarding that.

As far as your temps, why are you saying mid-80's is way too hot? because that is incorrect. I agree you have A LOT of research to do, and this forum, along with Brad's site are probably the best places to start.

Ok-Did you wash those plants before putting them in? She is probably freaked out by leaves if all she had was bare sticks. I would make sure she has some horizontal perches. She appears to be showing gravid colors so you need a laying bucket pronto. You should be misting enough to flood the bottom of your cage which will need to be wiped up daily.
