Hello,
My fiancé and brought home our 6mo Veiled Chameleon yesterday.
Her name is Calypso.
She's settling into her new home. She seems super comfortable and she's not even been home for two whole days. She's eating (so much!) and drinking lots and has already found her favorite basking place in the enclosure.

She's super friendly and extremely curious. A couple hours after waking up this morning she was right up by the door of the enclosure watching me sweep the room. I opened up the door and put my hand near her and she climbed right on. I was expecting her to be so much more cautious and timid but I am delighted she's not. She ended up climbing on top of my head and trying to taste my hair in its bun! I let her roam around the couch and she kept nibbling at everything and tasting blankets/leather/cloth/my wallet. (Is that normal? lol It seems like curiosity.) She grew up in a pet store and seems so excited about life and her new home. She's attracted to my windows, maybe the sunshine? She's so adorable.

I had to try to keep her away from my house plants though because they have fertilizer in the potting soil. I ordered some reptile ready plants from LLLReptile for her, can't wait to set them up!
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
