Hello,

I have the pictures taken out again for the time being, as some do not belive that they are bred. I do not know if I put more rare chameleon pictures online ... .
Maybe I put them online back.

You lucky devil! Keep the Calumma pictures coming! Calumma malthe is such a neat species, I've only seen one or two pics of them before.

Hi,

the Calumma Malthe, of course, registered and everything: rolleyes:
We'll see if I put other pictures online ... .: P

Really nice and unusual calumma!! the male it's amazing..
Can i ask how do you keep them and some info about this species?? thanks!!

Hi,

they can normally hold at 23 ° C.
It is really a very interesting way!
Do you want more?

I'd like to know how you acquired all these Calumma and Furcifer species that have not been exported from Madagascar since 1995?

In Germany and other countries, there are still some breeders of such species. The animals are all bred with papers!:)

Right, and of course, we all know that millions upon millions of Calumma malthe were exported legally from Madagascar prior to 1995 to provide all those "legal" bloodlines.

Way to keep supporting the people buying the black market stuff, guys. It really disappoints me that so many people here don't care in the slightest that this is perpetuating the black market trade and the smuggling of wildlife that is supposed to be protected.

The animals are here in Germany most of the breeders!
There are no animals on the black market. It was his own offspring, and have notified papers.
So if one is suspected of here or something, I can no longer make online photos of rare species: (

I just think that they have to take into consideration that this species that is so rare, would have to be f14 or f15 which, although possible, is highly unlikely.

Were your specific animals hatched in Germany? Sure. They look very healthy. I would believe that.

Where did their parents hatch, though? Or their grandparents? I just don't believe the bloodlines go back to pre-1995 when we all know wild-caught Calumma are occasionally sold at shows like Hamm.

Now, go ahead and keep posting pics. I'm a lot less interested in what individuals do than the overall picture of the "chameleon community" thinking that it's ok to support smuggling species that are threatened with extinction.

Hi,

Yes, the parents were born in Germany, the grandparents, I do not know.
But, then I can probably reins identify any further photos:(
I try Namely, the chameleons of Madagascar to protect!

You know Happy14, some papers are fake and illegal. This is sadly true, there is indeed a very big black market still going on... You just have to be cautious about what you believe and what you don't believe.

And since some species are protected for a reason, people here are worried to see these species disappear forever. I'm sure you understand. :)

Now if you want to post some pictures, go ahead. We sure like to see rare pictures! :)

How I hate those discussions...the USA is still the biggest market for all animals. Do you guys know how many Uroplatus are shipped every year in the States ? Just as an example.
