Hello every one, i have a adult ambilobe panther chameleon! But for now i change the calcium so im using now the zoomed with d3 and without too! what schedule will be better for him?¿!

The schedule for your supplements depends on many factors. First, your UVb light and natural sunlight duration may mean you do not need any D3 at All.

Second, calcium will depend on what feeders you are feeding to your chameleon. If the feeder has a poor calcium to phosphorus ratio such as crickets or roaches, then you will want to dust them with plain calcium. If they do not have a poor ratio you may not need to dust them.

Third, how are you gut loading your feeders and what variety are you providing? If you are providing a wide variety of feeders with a proper gut load this will effect your calcium and vitamin supplementation.

If you get that much sunlight and with your UVb you wont need the extra D3 supplement.

You should stop using the dog food in your gut load. Chameleons do not process animal protein well and can end up with gout from too much animal protein. Be sure to use fruits and veggies that are of good nutritional value. The following links may be helpful.

I use this list often in general for all my reptiles.

you might want to look up sandrachameleon and her blogs on nutrition as well.
