This weekend I wanted to take my little Cham out of his cage to 1) rear age bc I hated the way it was set up and 2) clean it lol. It was a STRUGLE!! As soon as I moved him into the new cage it was like he completely forgot who I was and he hated me!! I put him in his box and all I heard was hissing and scratching trying to get out, he was crazy! So I finished the cage and I likes it a whole lot more. I moved the heat lamp and the sticks to the front of the cage and the trees to the back of the cage so it was easier to fed and handed him. The day I brought him out he either was in a super bad mood or just srry! When I took him out of the box he was all black and puffed up a lot. It took me about 15 mins to get him out of his box and onto my hand bc everytime I would put my hand near him he would puff up, he was v annoying lol. But eventually he came out and would just sit in my hand. I just gave up and put him back into his new cage. I'm pretty sure he likes it a lot better also lol. He still loves to run around the cage but his basking spot is much closer than before which I am happy about. He is showing a lot more of his happy colors and does t try to attack me anymore!! I but him in his cage on Saturday and I have been handing him everyday to get a relationship back. He never puffs up on me now which I am super happy about because that is showing me that is he happy!! He is eating a lot (still) and is drinking good. His last urate is white which means he is fine with drinking in the new cage. I haven't weighed him in the last weeks (bc if the new cage) but I will hopefully get to do it this weekend. He has grown so much since I got him and I've only had him for 6 weeks!! The first 3 pics are of the day I got him and the other ones are from Sunday to today. This is a weird question but my nails are a dark blue and he always they'd to lick them!! I don't know if this is him saying he likes me or if he thinks it is food lol ( I will post a pic) is this normal?
