Cage sizes for a panther

I'm thinking of modifying my old aquarium stand thats 4' wide to be 2' deep from 13" deep.

I am thinking of putting 2 cages on that stand, 30" wide x 48" tall x 24" deep
and 24" wide x 48" tall x 18" deep,

would the smaller cage be large enough for an adult panther female?

i believe so.

I only have a male now, but this would allow me to get a female and I can pipe my my humidifyer, drainage and and future misting system to the stand. If i can modify the hood then I could even hide a pair of 4' florescents and the spot/heat lamps

just remember to put some partition there. Or, your male panther will continually try to go over to your female territory :)

yah I'm thinking of a plastic corregated cardboard
not sure how to ventilate it for better airflow though mayeb a few slots at the lower height

r u using screen cages?
In this case, you don't need to worry about the ventilation even with 1 block side.
4 screen sides (top, front, back, and a side) are sufficient.

Yah screen lol
Just want it to stay comfy. I hope to have the most spoiled chams ever ;p

OK I got my stand into my house and room... as you can see the stand has been stained and dissassembled since last used. I worked on the new top for th stand and it still needs to be finished and attached to the base, but this gives you an idea of what I had goin on.
