Cage size for Carpets

I'm thinking my next chameleon will be a Carpet Chameleon. I have no problem buying a 24x24x48 size cage, but do you guys that might be a little too much for the chameleon. What's you guys input on my query?

That is bigger than you need, but I have found that bigger is always better when it comes to chameleons. Provided that you can make sure it is eating.

Well like all of my reptiles, I normally house them in an appropriate size cage for their age and size. I just want to make sure I just don't go too big. I've learned through the years that there is such thing as too big. I just recently justly took an interest in Carpet Chams, so I'm just doing my research now. I couldn't find a specific answer to my question though.

That's the size cage I was thinking about, but I didn't know if that was to little either. But thanks for your input Dez.

When I fist had my pair I kept them (seprately) in 48" cages, and that was very roomy but good - they definitely used every inch of it! But then when I got a couple more large chameleons I moved them down to 36" x 18" cages. I thought they were smaller but defintiely comfortable.

If you want to go "big" but not huge I think the 36" x 18" x 18" or 36" x 24" x 24" screen cages are great. But you could go a little smaller, it depends on how much room you want to give them.
