I would not worry if he has been fine otherwise.

They can be like school kids, awake but hiding it. ?.
Remember there whole strategy to survival is “Just don’t be seen.”

Depends on when you did it. Was it his normal sleeping time?

Maybe he took a page from the iguana book on how to shut your eyes and make something/someone that annoys you cease to exist because you can't see it anymore! (kidding, not about the Iguanas as they really do this, but you know what I mean. LOL)

If he's sleeping with lights on, I'd say that's a cause for concern. If you did the cage clean during nighttime/lights out hours maybe not?

@CasqueAbove sleeping is not fine if it is during the day.

If you cleaned it during his sleeping hours, he should be fine. But if you did a day cleaning and he just sat there with his eyes closed, yes I would be concerned.

I assume night time. Or the post would be “my Cham in not coming out in the day.
Lethargy would be an issue.
