Basically wondering if anyone know anythingabout cactus plants. Wanted to know if it was worth while re potting mine? The roots are pretty much all the way round the soil and filling up the pot.

As with any plant, you should be able to break the roots up gently and repot it. It isn't good for them to be rootbound. Make sure to use soil that is kind of sandy or rocky and has good drainage.

What kind of cactus?

I've used bubble wrap when attempting to uproot/repot prickly plants - if you're careful, that can protect both you and the cactus.

I repotted it to one larger pot and gave it a bit of water to get the soil mixed up a bit. Anything else I should know?

You need to keep the soil wet. It will go into shock if you don't. Do this for a week and the roots shall grow enough to go to normal waterings.

Also, they make liquid fertilizer for cactus. It works really well. I haven't seen it in a while but it only cost like $5

I dont no im sorry but i bought a cactus seed mix pack and im going to be planting that today. The only thing i know they like is more shallow wide pots then deep ones.

I would think it'd be easier just to smash the pot with a hammer to get it out. *rolls eyes*
