C. Tempeli aka "Panda" Chameleons

Tempeli

New Member
Hello,

I bought from nick(FCR) A pair of C. Temepli and I was wondering if ANYONE at all have experience with this species. I looked all over the web and nobody seem to have any real information about them. I am treating them as pygmy chameleons. Both seem very active, today had some waxworms with injected reptaid( they seem a bit skinny and dehydrated) otherwise, I seem them actively drinking and eating just fine.

In addition, I have done fecal exams and they came up empty. These are farmed raised.

um try looking stuff up under thier scientific name maybe? also upload pics please :DD. i have no experience with them but did have trouble finding out stuff about chams i wanted. also try looking on the species list on this forum it might have another name they go by.:D good luck

The scientific name is Chamaeleo tempeli (unless they changed it?)

Thanks for the help.

Instead of being skeptical why not (try to) offer help?

I wish I knew more about tempeli,
it looks like AdCham had a page for Tempeli.. but they are down now..

They don't have much information on them. :( I've always thought they looked interested and wanted to learn more about them forever ago but never had much luck.

I keep seeing goetzei pop up with the tempeli on search.
Trace, a moderator on these forums has experience with the goetzei. I don't know if they have much in common but it doesn't hurt to ask.

EDIT: She does have experience with them as does Chris Anderson as notified by the Experience Keepers list.

Trioceros tempeli

How goes your search for info & Chams? I recently got a Trioceros tempeli off the classifieds & he is great, such a very cool little guy! I am looking to getting a female in the spring & hope to start raising a few.

the only one I have ever seen in the Classifieds has been this OPs for months now. You sure you didn't get it from him?:D
