Buy eggs or adult silkworms?

Hey guys just curious of it is better to buy the eggs or the worms themselves. Obviously it seems like a better deal to get the eggs because it is cheaper but should I get them glued or...? I don't really know the difference tbh thank you

It's a lot cheaper to get the eggs. It's fine if they aren't glued. You can glue them yourself. Just go to to any craft store or Walmart and buy a glue stick, but make sure it's ACID FREE. That's all you need. Most kids Elmer glue sticks are acid free. But the bad thing about getting eggs is, that you have to keep them chilled while they are shipping, or else they will hatch shortly after you receive them. Trust me, I've made the mistake and I received 2,000 silkworm eggs and they ALL hatched shortly after I received them. The silkworms are usually easier to ship, but some places right now have too high a temperature right now and they won't ship the silkworms.

Just curious as to why you have to glue them...lol I still do not get that. Sorry. And yeah I would only be ordering around 200 eggs the first time until I can handle a lot more. I have 5 mouths to feed plus my girlfriends other 6 mouths and three are beardies so I am not worried about waste :D lol
