bushfires and koalas

This story was emailed to me from a friend back home. It saddens me greatly that over 180 people have perished (and many more missing) and endless native wildlife has been destroyed. I thought we has all learnt from the 1983 bushfires but no....

This just cheered me up a little over it. I love a good story especially when it has a happy ending.....my hat goes off to all the people that volunteered and put their own lives at risk to help others both human and furry.

I think it sums up human kindness and bravery perfectly
