Yes, I promise very soon, our batteries are dead and my husband promises to bring some home tomarrow night, so hopefully I'll have some up by Thurs!! Maybe sooner if he gets home tomarrow at a decent time!!

About the leaking... Is it leaking where the brass fitting screw into the plastic valve? if so.. remove the 3/4" brass fitting and wrap it with a LOT of teflon tape. I had to go around a few times. The other fittings should only require two or three wraps. Also make sure the water flows with the arrow markings on the valve (if your leaking at the nozzle).

Thank you sooo much!! He's going next week and I will update everyone on what the vet says as soon as I get back!! We have become cham junkies with this site, we read just about EVERYTHING even if its not pertaining to our current situation it may in the future!! We have a strong feeling fred will not always be our only Cham, once we've learned enough and have another cage setup we will be looking on here for our new, probably alot easier, experience, from a great breeder/hobbiest !! After some current posts we've been keeping up with we now see how frustrating it CAN be trying to help newbies but also how rewarding on the other end of the spectrum!! Thanks for all your support!!

Here are the pics of Fred, the burns are healing well and he is gaining weight in the short time that he joined are family. Hope he continues do well. The burnt skin that you can see in the first post came off with his shed but he has scaring along his upper back area. He is eating and drinking well. He also has adapted well to the feeder that I made him.
On that matter, I of course got feeder design from this form, however instead of gluing the screen on the inside of the milk jug I found a screen repair kit that has small sections of screen with adhesive already on the screen for about $2.00 works great and no waiting for the glue to dry.

The burn looks to be healing pretty well and possibly older. The cage looks good! Maybe put the UVB bulb over more of it if you can.

I swear that isn't the same chameleon!
He looks fantastic. So much better. Colours are good. He's not skinny, body tone is good. His chin is healing up. I wouldn't change anything with his cage set-up (lights, humidifier, drippers etc.). I think his eyes and casque are still slightly sunken but now that his burns are almost healed and he's got proper living conditions (humidity and water), that should rectify itself. Still keep the handling and interactions to a minimum until he is 100% and don't rule out that wellness check at the vets at some point. It's good to find out how he's running on the inside.
Keep up the good work. Your dedication to learning about chameleons and to Fred himself is commendable. Give him an extra housefly from me.
