Bump up on front lip

Hi Everyone,
Mr. Ralph has a growth (bump) on his lower front lip. I took him to the vet and they said it is not an abscess and just keep on watching it to see if grows larger.

Otherwise he is very healthy, has a great appetite and moves around alot

Has anyone else seen something like this?

That looks like an abscess or bone infection. Do you have a good reptile vet? If not I might be able to recommend one if you share where you live.

Thank you for your quick reply. The vet I went to specializes in Chameleons and the test questions I gave her proved to be so and I was quite pleased. I live in a suburb of Montreal (Pincourt) Quebec.

I’d keep a very close eye on it. It’s not normal. One of my boys had a bump like that and my vet did a biopsy and it was a bone infection that was very hard to treat. The vet was worried it might be cancer.
