bump on my chams noise

Hi peeps iv been told to upload some pics of my cham there
Is a bump on his nosie i was look for some more advice pleases
Or dose any one know what it is

Thats def an abscess, cyst, infection of some sort.

Youll need to see a vet to treat it.

Nothing you can do at home.

It has to be lanced, cleaned out, and treated with medication.

That its defo something. only got him on saturday 28th dec so going back to the pet shop tomorrow see what they have got to say about it. not happy after paying 50 pound for him :-(

I've got no idea about the pet store, but don't be surprised if they say it isn't anything to worry about. Often shops will just let the issue go and blame an animals death on something else a new owner has done. Hopefully that's not the case. Either way, it is a good idea to have a good reptile vet, and this is usually something that can be treated somewhat easily. You will likely need a medication to treat any infection, and of course, if it is an abscess or pus, a minor procedure to remove it. (Then the healing and freaking out over every spot or mark you see for pretty much the rest of time :eek:.) Good luck with your new addition! :D
