Bump on leg?

So I'm new to the forum and new to owning a chameleon. The back story is my friend got me the chameleon about 6 months ago or so and took care of him until they were able to bring him up to me. When I got him I noticed a bump or growth or something on his leg and they said it was just MBD. After doing hours of research I couldn't find anyone with this type of situation and I don't think its MBD. Here are some pictures. The bump is on the back right leg of him.

Second he does have MBD. You can see it in the curvature of his limbs.

that bump- looks like a tumor, growth, abscess. something.. he needs to see a vet. NOW.

yea his mbd is fairly advanced.

a vet will have to provide medication for the leg bump, and calcium injections for the mbd.

he will never be cured, but you can halt the progression of the disease.

as far as i know he didn't when my friend got him as a baby. My friend thought it was a sign of mbd and thought it would go away

Sorry that your cham is not doing well. I hope you can get him treatment for the growth and the MBD, which he does have. It looks likes the growth has ulcerated and I am glad you are getting him to a vet. I hope it is not too painful for him. Just so you know, MBD doesn't just go away on its own or even with treatment. Unfortunately, your chameleon will have MBD for the rest of his years. You can improve it some with treatment but there is no miracle cure that makes it go away completely..
