Bump in my cham’s eye

Recently i noticed a bump in my chameleon’s eye. i took him to the vet and he told me that it was a blockage in his eye. he went under surgery to get it out and now the same reaction is going on in his other eye. the vet i went to performed a eye flush and told me that there’s nothing we can do. I don’t know what to do now nor do i want to sit and watch him suffer anymore. i want to help, i live in New Jersey and finding a exotic specialist is really hard to find and bit pricey. the vet also prescribed me 2 eye drops to do everyday, they are Flurbiprofen & Oxfloxacin i already spent over 2k on his one eye and i don’t know what to do about his other eye any suggestions?

You definitely need a new vet. Let me see if I can find you one in or near NJ.

One of our members take his chameleon here: https://www.redbankvet.com/service/avian-exotics/

Another member that no longer keeps chameleons, used this vet.

For during the day, panther humidity levels should be 50-60/65%. The humidity levels should be higher at night; it can go up to 100% at night if the temps are at or below 65*F and there's enough airflow

His eye might be getting an infection from the intense amount of humidity. Try and lower the misting schedule. And continue the care for his eye if it doesn't get better check with your vet about his health.
