Bulging vent ??

Should I be concerned about the bulging vent? He seems to only have it when he's sleeping.

I'm thinking he's just well endowed haha but I just wanna be safe. I sent breeder a pic and asked them, waiting for a response. And right? That last shed made his Jammies look incredible!

I KNOW! I can sneak and get pictures of green scorpion sleeping no problem. Mookie joe however catches me every time! Which is why I rarely take them

His butt, it bulges out. It did not do this before.

Could be a sperm plug that didnt make it fully out and began to dry up somewhat inside the cloaca. Check it out when he wakes up and post some pictures then.

I checked on my guy the other night as he was sleeping outside. I usually don't bother them at night, but he was outside and I shined a flashlight and his vent looked like that too!

Well that's a relief it definitely didn't start doing that until after his first plug....I figured it had something to do with him maturing. Thanks carol!

If the whole tail area around the vent starts to bulge or get bigger then there might be something else going on. What I see right now, does not look of anything concerning. With my chameleon, I do know that the next morning his vent did not look like that, it was just when he was sleeping for some reason.

Yep same here. His vent looks completely normal again. Just at night for some reason it looks like that.
