Bulging Eye

So this morning I witnessed my Chameleons eye bulging, and pumping, and doing all sorts of sick and twisted movements, and I started getting worried until I opened the cage to try and feed him. It went back to normal and he just sat there looking at me like I'm a dumbass haha...chameleons are awesome , but I would like to know what he was doing so that I don't freak out again.

Yeah I freaked out the first time Giz did that too. It was right after I had misted for a while and I was afraid that I had gotten water in his eye and it was hurting him lol.

Do you lightly mist him directly? It helps get little things out and can reduce eye infection. My veiled lets me spray her and shell do this cleaning while peeping at me lol. Just dont spray him constantly and make sure its a warm shower
