Mealworms
Meal worm beetles..
Most of the bugs are not on a constant rotation but are fed when I have them available
His base diet is mostly crickets super worms and horn worms
He is a great eater with all these feeders on his menu, the superworm n hornworm will definitely put some weight on him, have you try to keep a log on his weight? How much does he eat? Does he wants to eat more than u give him??

I recently started to weigh him weekly, he Def has put on some weight since his last dose for pinworms, he has Def slowed down his eating after all the weight gain, I'm going to Def adjust his feeding, I just like to spoil the guy before I go to work but I will def trim it down some

I know exactly what u mean by spoiling your cham..and lots chameleon owners too, especially they are not like the chameleon in the wild, always moving around n constantly searching for their next food items, they are all in their cages, and waited for the next meals which we already prepared for them..even some snack feeders also, let see if that will make a difference by you trim it down n adjust his feeding, best luck to ur cham.

Here is a more thorough description of what happened for future reference
My vet examined Alfred, felt his belly, his conclusion was that it is more than likely fat build up. He is not showing signs of pain or tenderness in the area, the bulge is pretty evenly distributed in the center of his belly, he did not feel anything hard or abnormal during his exam, he gave him an overall visual inspection and did not believe any further action was needed, he told me to keep an eye on his behavior and the "bulge" . I asked about the possibility of a hernia, or it being some kind of abnormality and he explained to me why he did not think it was either of those. He mentioned if it where a hernia, he would show signs of pain like it moving or a painful reaction when he touched the area, there was not anything hard or anything pressing against his organs. He also said blood work, x ray, and an ultra sound where all options but he didn't feel like it was called fo at this time. Well i hope he's correct, I was worried.
Alfred does seem ok. He eats, poops, moves up and down his cage regularly. He gets feisty when I try and touch him. For now il just keep an eye on it and cutback in the super worms!
