Bulbs Suited For Plant Growth

What bulbs and or light fictures, are good for potential plant growth and health? I've looked into it and I'm not really sure on what's better than what. Any advice is appreciated!

A 6500k grow light is what you want. You can use a bulb that fits in a dome fixture or a long, tube fluorescent light.

Light Your Reptiles had some great dual bulb fluorescent fixtures.

I'll look into that. And would i just use it 12 hours a day as i would with my other lights or does the extra amount of light bother the chams eyes? I'm trying to get my ficus and kalanchoe to grow and and due to my geographical location that tends to be a challenge.

Match your UVB light cycle, no worries for the chameleons eyes. If you already have a fixture you can get a 6500k bulb at hardware stores, If you need to buy a dual fixture, Light Your Reptiles is the place to go.

CHEERS!
