Nice looking cage

Make sure the screening is on tight so it won't be able to rip easily. I too am currently building a cage and trust me, the screen needs to be as tight as possible or else even a couple pokes on it will rip it.

It looks good so far!! I'm so glad you got another chameleon :) Sean and I got an Ambilobe Panther after Rosalita died. He's going to make his own enclosure as well!!

Is the whole enclosure going to be on the floor or up on a wall? Also, is the enclosure just that long cabinet door??

This is what I have done so far. Almost done, just have to caulk around the edges in the inside and put a backing on. I couldn't cut through the middle divider unfortunately so the left side is his.

It's made out of an old entertainment center so it sits on the ground.

I'm just wondering, from other posts I've read, if it'll have enough ventilation, you know? I'm fairly new to chameleons still, but aren't their enclosures suppose to be high off the ground??

Ventilation is fine, top, doors, and back are all screen. The top of the cage is about 5 feet off the ground. I am looking to finish it today :D

Looks really great! The only thing I would recommend is covering the inside edges of the screen with some trim or something so he doesn't cut himself. Those are really sharp, I had all sorts of cuts on me from when I built my cages :cool:

I bent them over on the doors and the back is fiberglass screen and the top I put the metal screen on the outside and the fiberglass screen on the inside.
