building cage need plans!

Im looking to find plans for a veiled chameleon that has outgrown his current cage almost and since i hear its cheaper to build a cage im looking for any plans to construct one.

What size cage are you looking to build?

I would say that it's hard to build an attractive cage for less than you can buy one for. If you're trying to build an outdoor enclosure or something that doesn't have to be perfect to look at then you can probably do it.

Mine cost well over $100 for just the cage....that's not counting the stand and canopy.

Tyler at Blue Beast Reptiles has all aluminum cages.

18x30x72 $225 shipped

I don't know if there are less expensive ones out there or not but if you find some make sure they aren't steel......they don't last.

I think Tyler may have options for soft screen sides also.

thanks I think when I have to buy the cage i will but the 48 inch tall one because the next size up is too expensive for me especially when im going to buy a nosy be at the next show here in san diego in june or from lll reptiles
