Building Baby Cage

I was looking at making one myself, the same way they sell them but it came out to be pretty close to the price. So i just bought one and avoided the hassle. I do plan on making my own but that will be a big one and im pretty sure this will be worth it...

Cage for 1 through 3 months, pending on clutch size
Ok here is one I built that has been VERY successful for the little ones. Reason being is It provides cover concealment, the ability to walk and get prey on the sides also, ventalated but fully enclosed. Just a mist bottle and some food sources is all you need after that. The sides can even be sprayed wet to provide humidity.
The cage is wood frame with plexiglass top, a 5.0 light, shear white fabric sides and bottom. All screwed and stapled together
Size can be at your own discretion, mostly pending on amount of young you may want to keep. I have found this much easier than housing all in separate containers with great success.

I am finishing mine today and plan on posting pics of the final product but here are my plans.
It has 4 separate screen enclosures that are each 16x16x24T. It is framed out of 2x2s that were sanded, stained and clear coted. It is very cheap to make and looks very nice. If you like it I can send you the actual blueprints. The babies will fluctuate in size pretty fast it is always safest to have more enclosures ready!!!

I got it at Home Depot but Lowes probably has it to. It's what you would use to make a window screen.
