Building a new cage

I am planning on building a new cage for my veiled chameleon soon. Is there any precautions I should take so ensure it will be safe for him? Such as things I need to do to the screen to keep him protected?

Use aluminium screen...... Crix cant chew thru it.... I also recommend 1/4" square holed Hardware cloth for the top. Regular screen will block 50% or more of your UVB!

and....if you add reflective tape to the under side, it increases the amt even more!
