As far as the soil, most of us replant with fresh soil that does not contain fertlizers as some chameleons will eat soil. To prevent this, cover the soil with large river rocks. Not small ones that can fit in their mouths. We have had a few accidents on here with chameleons swallowing the stones if they are too small.
