bugs in plants????

we r looking into getting a big plant to put buddy in while cleaning and also to put in his new house. my question is r the plants we buy gonna have buge on them that will harm buddy. also in the soil??

,they shouldn't as most nurseries spray insectides for bugs. That is why you want to wash your plant well with soap and water and rinse good also. As far as the soil, most of us replant with fresh soil that does not contain fertlizers as some chameleons will eat soil. To prevent this, cover the soil with large river rocks. Not small ones that can fit in their mouths. We have had a few accidents on here with chameleons swallowing the stones if they are too small.
