Hello Guys,
Our panther Cham Buddy has been acting funny for a few days now, not wanting to come out of his cage quite lethargic, dull in colour and off his food. The other day we came in in the morning to find him eating soil out of a pot in the bottom of his cage (it is usually covered, but there was a gap) by the looks of it he had been doing it for a few days before we noticed. He has also not been drinking and we also noticed him take a rather large unhealthily large poo the other day, sort of mucusy with the urate tipped with orange. Since then we have been misting him more than usual, offering him his favorite foods but still no change, what could the problem be? This is so unlike Bud to not want to come out, he won't even take wax worms off u (and they are his favorite), today I popped him in the shower and noticed him drink but when putting him in there i noticed he wasn't as agile as he usually is, to the point of being a bit clumsy grabbing his tail instead and moving really slowly?
What could the matter be?

also..

Also today, we noticed his poo was very almost pure mucus with a partially digested cricket in there, a few days ago he was also sitting with his mouth open ? but that has stopped now? there are no usually wheezing noises coming from him or anything?

He may be impacted and seeing as he is showing very alarming symptoms you should bring him to a vet asap, if you can get in somewhere today would be your best bet. But if you are going to bring him to a vet you NEED to go to a certified reptile vet or the visit could do more harm than good.
